Mitch Daigle
Vice President
Mitch is a senior project management professional with over 25 years
experience in consulting, facilities management, design, and program and project
management in the building industry. Mr. Daigle holds certifications in Local
Project Administration for federally funded Department
of Transportation projects as well as Community Development Block Grant
Administration for federally funded Department of Economic and Community
Development and Department of Housing and Urban Development projects
Mr. Daigle has participated in the successful delivery of projects ranging in
construction value from $0.5M to $100M. He was responsible for participating in
the design, construction and post construction phase activities and management
of staff and contractors to ensure the project scope as awarded is built in full
conformance with the plans, specifications, and schedule within the cost limits.
Mr. Daigle plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates all activities required
to achieve successful project completion. He is responsible for working with
local, state, and federal agencies to obtain all permitting approvals. He is
responsible for preparing and issuing plans and specifications for bid,
reviewing plans for constructability and working with the architectural and
engineering teams to complete bid document packages. Mr. Daigle reviews the
contractor’s schedule, monitors the progress, reviews contractor/owner delays
and keeps the project on track to achieve the contractual completion date. He
is responsible for reviewing contractor change order requests for merit,
estimating, and negotiating the change orders. He manages the consultant team
to achieve timely and accurate responses and leads coordination meetings with
the architect, contractors, and vendors to resolve potential delay issues in
advance.
Mr. Daigle has participated in delivery of projects totaling over 4.5 million
square feet with a total development cost of over $1 billion in North America,
Europe, Africa and Asia. Working with other colleagues, Mr. Daigle deploys and
monitors best practices in risk management methodologies, innovative design
management tools, and project control processes.
Prior to being a senior project manager and Vice President of Cordjia Capital
Projects Group, Mr. Daigle was a founding member and Vice President of Buck
Consulting Group over a four-year period. Before this, Mitch held several
senior technical positions and was a primary team member in the delivery of
projects within the credit card industry over a ten-year period with his last
assignment as a senior project manager in the International Design & Development
department of a Fortune 100 company.
