University of Maine to Lower Energy Costs
|
|
In an effort to reduce operating costs and
decrease its environmental impact, the University of Maine
selected Cordjia Capital Projects Group to perform a Retro-Commissioning study at two of their large science centers, Bryand Global Sciences Center and Sawyer Environmental Research Center.
The primary Retro-Commissioning objectives include, but are not limited to, improve system operation, improve equipment life and performance, reduce energy and demand costs, increase asset value, and increase occupant comfort.
Cordjia Capital Projects Group identified energy conservation measures that represent an aggregate 35% reduction in annual energy costs.
